Bloomberg’s Jason Schreier has weighted in on the recent God of War Ragnarok Valhalla DLC, insisting it’s way more than what developer Sony Santa Monica Studio initially made it out to be in last week’s announcement. In fact, he’s surprised that the studio is offering it for free.
The new God of War Ragnarok Valhalla DLC is wild. Way more than the initial announcement made it seem. I can’t believe it’s free.
A lot of folk on Reddit are agreeing with Schreier’s comments, noting that there’s a ton of content in Valhalla; some are even suggesting that they would have been happy to pay $20 for the DLC.
In case you haven’t been keeping up with our coverage, God of War Ragnarok Valhalla is seen as the epilogue to the base game, and includes its own Trophy list. The DLC sees Kratos and Mimir venture to the mysterious shores of Valhalla, where new challenges await them, although we won’t spoil anything for you at this point.
