UPDATE: Sony has confirmed that the Gold PS4 Slim will be available to buy in North America on June 9. Here’s the statement from Sony:
On June 9 as part of this event, we will be introducing a new slim Gold PS4 system with 1TB of HDD storage, which will launch with a limited-time promotional price of $249.99 USD (MSRP) / $329.99 CAD (MSRP). The system comes with a matching DualShock 4 wireless controller, and will be available for a limited time only. Make sure not to miss out.!

Remember the PS4 Gold Slim leak? Well, it was true, but there’s actually another model coming too – a swanky silver 500GB PS4!
Sony has confirmed that a Gold and Silver PS4, which will include matching DualShock 4 controllers (yes, two of them!), will be available from June 28 in the UK. We’re still waiting to hear from the US side, but considering the Gold model has already been spotted in some stores, we’re certain it’s launching in North America too.
Apparently both consoles are Limited Edition so Sony are urging folk to get buying before they sell out. This means that you can now pick up a black PS4, white PS4 and these two new colors.
If you just wanted a Gold or Silver DualShock PS4 controller, you can pick up those separately.
Prices have yet to be 100 percent confirmed.
