Sony Interactive Entertainment has announced a gold wireless headset for PS4, an enhancement of the current Platinum cans.
Featuring 7.1 virtual surround sound, a 3.5mm audio cable and noise cancelling microphones for crisper communication, the gold wireless headset can be used with PlayStation VR as well as PS4. There's also the option to change its audio mode by using the headset companion app on PS4.
This mode allows you to get the best audio depending on what you're watching or playing, with the likes a shooter, movie and fighting mode.
Sony has yet to confirm price or release date, but says that the new gold wireless headset is coming soon to Europe.
