WB Games Montreal has swooped down like a Caped Crusader and dropped off the official Gotham Knights gameplay launch trailer ahead of the superhero title’s launch later this month.
It opens on a downer with scenes of Batman’s (aka Bruce Wayne) funeral, only to kick into overdrive as the new Knights of Gotham City – that’s Batgirl, Nightwing, Red Hood and Robin – take up the Dark Knight’s crime fighting antics to restore law and order back to the crime-infested streets.

Gotham Knights is scheduled for release on October 21, 2022 for PS5, PC and Xbox Series X/S. As mentioned above, the game is set following the death of Batman, with four new heroes attempting to clean up Gotham’s streets, which are infested with gangs and criminal activity.
Developer WB Games Montreal has said that players will need to play the game multiple times over in order to see everything the superhero title has to offer.
