THQ Nordic and Alkimia Interactive has announced that digital preorders for Gothic Remake are now available for PS5, PC, and Xbox Series X/S versions of the game.
Gothic Remake will set you back $59.99 on PS5 and Xbox Series X/S and will include a free bonus in the form of Gothic Classic, which is now playable. Meanwhile, the PC version retails for $49.99 and adds the official soundtrack as a bonus, which “reimagines familiar melodies while introducing new compositions that perfectly capture the spirit of the original.”
Gothic Remake is scheduled for release on June 5, 2026 for PS5, PC, and Xbox Series X/S. The game is a faithful overhaul of the 2001 classic RPG using modern technology, retaining the classic atmosphere while enhancing the gameplay to afford a more fluid and dynamic experience. Players control the Nameless Hero as they uncover the world of a mining colony ruled by an iron fist and unearth its secrets, against the backdrop of humanity fighting a losing battle against overwhelming Orc armies.
Players will immersed in a 50-hour campaign as you explore the a dynamic living world where the inhabitants of the Colony go about their daily lives, including working, sleeping, eating and more. Combat has also been enhanced to update the core mechanics of the original, while still retaining the tactical roots of the 2001 RPG.
