Remember yesterday when we heard from Polyphony Digital bigwig Kazunori Yamauchi that Gran Turismo 6 will have a shorter development period than Gran Turismo 5? Well, Yamauchi has said that Gran Turismo 5’s North American and European releases might not be that far from each other, or even from the Japanese release in March of 2010.
"I don’t think it’s going to be that different for US and Europe," Yamauchi speculated at the Tokyo Game Show. "Marketing is still discussing their issues."
Gran Turismo 5 features over 950 initial cars and supports gamer-made YouTube clips showing off their racing feats. It also expands the ‘Gran Turismo TV’ video service and holds the crown for one of the longest anticipated PS3 games thus far.
