Polyphony Digital‘s Gran Turismo 7 shifted 57% of all launch copies last weekend via digital download on the PlayStation Store, the latest GSD data has revealed.
Furthermore, combined digital and physical sales for GT7 reveal that 78% of all copies sold were for the PS5 version of the racer. It ranks as the third biggest launch in the UK for Sony’s latest console, behind Elden Ring and Horizon Forbidden West, although the gap is pretty close.
Elden Ring still rules the roost when it comes to digital sales for the second week in a row, despite digital sales dropping by 56%, while overall digital and disc-based sales are down 61% week-on-week.
PlayStation versions of the fantasy-RPG continue to take the lion’s share of sales, however, accounting for 42% — Xbox and PC took 32% and 26%, respectively.
