Polyphony Digital‘s Gran Turismo 7 has debuted at the top of the UK All Format Chart, dethroning Elden Ring in the process.
The latest entry in the racing simulation franchise sold 76% of all copies on the PS5, with PS4 taking up the rest. Interestingly, the game is noted to have moved 28% fewer physical copies than Gran Turismo Sport back in October 2017.
GT7 recorded the fourth biggest boxed launch of the year, following behind the likes of Pokemon Legends: Arceus, Horizon Forbidden West, and Elden Ring. Speaking of the latter, sales fell 69% week-on-week, although the game still continues to perform well and only fell to second place.
