Writing on the official Gran Turismo website, the studio highlighted some of the advantages that the PSVR 2 version of the racing simulation title will bring to users.
GT7 takes full advantage of PSVR2’s next-gen features. Utilising specially optimised HDR tone mapping, as well as foveated rendering from the eye-tracking feature (a technology that renders areas of the screen that the player is directly looking at in high definition), and dynamic 3D audio support, players will experience a whole new dimension of highly immersive gameplay.
PSVR 2 is launching for February 22, 2023 and will retail for $549.99/£529.99. Sony has announced that the device will be supported by around 30 games during its launch window, including Horizon: Call of the Mountain.
Gran Turismo 7 was originally released in March 2022 for PS4 & PS5, and you can read our full verdict here.
