Grand Theft Auto 1 and 2 hitting PSN, suggests ESRB

Classic crime romps Grand Theft Auto and Grand Theft Auto II look set to make the transition to PlayStation Network at last.

That’s according to a listing by the ESRB (via NeoGAF), which rates both PSone Classics for release on PlayStation Network. Unsurprisingly, they both got slapped with a Mature rating.

GTA and its sequel will be released via PSN on PlayStation 3, PlayStation Vita and PlayStation Portable.

Both games have been a long time coming, as most of the franchise is already available to download on Sony’s online service. The most recent additions came in the shape of Liberty City Stories and Vice City Stories.

The next instalment in the series, Grand Theft Auto V, is scheduled for release on PS3 and Xbox 360 in September.
