Josh Chapman of Konvoy, a venture capital firm focussed on investment in gaming, has predicted that Grand Theft Auto VI will generate an earth-shattering $7.6 billion in revenue in 60 days of its launch.

In addition, Konvoy estimated that GTA VI will ship 85 million units within the same two-month window, with subscriptions to GTA+ skyrocketing when the sequel is released.
GTA VI is pencilled in for release on May 26, 2026, having been delayed from its original Fall 2025 window. According to a report last month, the story for the highly anticipated crime caper was rejected three times, which ultimately lead to the departure of Rockstar bigwig Dan Houser.
