3D Realms and 1C Entertainment have announced Graven, a spiritual successor to Hexen 2, which will land on PS5 and PS4 in 2021.
Set in a gruesome medieval world of deities and monstrosities, Graven takes cues from immersive sims, classic shooters, and action RPGs. With three expansive, open-ended regions and a reactive world to explore you will get to banish more than thirty enemies from plagued madmen to swamp beasts.
On top of combat, the game will have weapon upgrading, puzzles, and seeking out new abilities to expand your arsenal.

The game’s director Frederik Schreiber stated the following about an announcement in a press release:
“GRAVEN began as a game we had often dreamed of. What would a spiritual successor to a dark fantasy series such as Hexen, have looked like if it was made in 1998 in the original Unreal engine?’ We think the answer is GRAVEN. We hope you do too.”
Graven releases for PS5 and PS4 in 2021.
