At their PlayStation Tokyo Game Show 2015 press conference, Sony announced the PS Vita action-adventure Gravity Rush will be remastered for the PS4 and will launch on February 9, 2016 in the US and February 10, 2016 in Europe.
The PS4 remaster is in the hands of the talented Bluepoint Games, the studio responsible for many great remasters including The Ico & Shadow of the Colossus Collection, Metal Gear Solid HD Collection, and the upcoming Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection.
Thanks to the horsepower of Sony’s latest console, the renewed release of the Japan Studio title will see improved, smoother performance and full HD 1080p resolution. Plus, all the extra DLC containing extra costumes and missions will be included: the Spy Pack, The Maid Pack, and The Military Pack.
Originally named Gravity Daze in Japan, Gravity Rush put players in control of Kat, a girl who has lost her memory but gains the ability to control gravity. She and her black cat Dusty soar and fall through the floating city of Hekseville, saving people its citizens from the Nevi monsters that have appeared, in a beautiful adventure filled with a Moebius & anime-inspired art style.
