GRID 2 Euro race locations and cars info blowout

Codemasters has today fired out brand new gameplay info for GRID 2, detailing a huge bunch of new content, including new cars, locations and racing clubs set to feature in the upcoming title when it launches on May 31.

Accompanying the info blowout is a new trailer showcasing some of the highlights of GRID 2’s European races. Check it out below.

It looks to be plunging players into all sorts of engaging race events, from Road Races on the Côte d’Azur where racers must speed through tunnels while tackling climbs, plunges and hairpins. Indeed, this should prove more than enough to keep you on your toes as you speed past breath-taking scenery.

However, that is certainly not all, as players will be able to fire into the Street Racing category, centred in Paris, blasting cars round boulevards, zipping around the Arc de Triomphe and speeding past none other than the magnificent Eiffel Tower.

The Track Racing will take place at the Algarve International Circuit in Portugal, which is making its console debut in GRID 2. Couple this with the other European locations, Brands Hatch (Track Racing), Barcelona (Street Racing) and the Red Bull Ring (Track Racing) gamers have plenty in store and to look forward to in GRID 2.

Here is a list of the current crop of cars named to be featuring in GRID 2:

BMW E30 M3 Sport Evolution (Evo3)
BMW Motorsport 320 TC
Caterham-Lola SP300R
Ford Focus ST 2013
Gomez Competition GC 10.1
McLaren F1 GT
Mercedes Benz 190E 2.5 Evo 2
Mercedes Benz SLS GT3
Pagani Huayra
Volvo S60 BTCS
