GT5 Prologue additional vehicles, tracks and features revealed

Gran Turismo 5 Prologue is just around the corner, though it feels like the wait has been forever. Ever since Gran Turismo HD was released on the PlayStation Network, car enthusiasts have been waiting patiently and anxiously for the next step in this critically acclaimed franchised.

With a release date of April 15 here in North America, we’ll play host to a ton of additional features for having to wait those extra couple of weeks.

Some of these features include a Drift Mode, Car Tuning, two-player split screen, and a new set of online and offline racing events. However, those are just the icing on the cake when you take the time to realize the vehicles that were rendered for this racing simulator.

Sony Computer Entertainment America (SCEA) is very pleased with what the product has to offer its North American consumer. We’ve included not only a car list below, but also a track list, which can all be viewed below:

Even with all of these things to look forward to, it still leaves us with Gran Turismo TV, which is a new community channel to enjoy the automotive lifestyle. The game will also feature in-cockpit driving with actual real-time gauges and player animations that will reflect the true performance and handling of each included vehicle. Gran Turismo 5 Prologue will also be playing host to a new physics engine as well as a user homepage for players, called My Page.

We’ll be sure to bring a full review of the game and its new features and car offerings in April with the release of the title.
