Polyphony Digital’s Kazunori Yamauchi has yet again reiterated that development on Gran Turismo 5 has not yet wrapped, though promised the game will be finished "shortly."
The eagerly anticipated racing sequel was first announced way back in 2006, and has since been the subject of numerous delays. To wet consumers appetites, however, Yamauchi and co have released a number of tasters over the past couple of years, including GT HD and GT5: Prologue.
With the full game due out in North America on November 2, however, it’s just as well the developer’s have confirmed that work on the racer will finally be coming to a close in the not-too-distant future: "GT5 is getting to where it will be finished shortly,” said Yamauchi-san, during a Twitter post.
Fingers crossed eh folks?
