Janco Partners analyst Mike Hickey has said that Grand Theft Auto V will “likely” be released in Take-Two’s fiscal 2012, which means it could pop up anywhere between April 2012 – March 2013.
Furthermore, Hickey believes the game could move a whopping 16 million units worldwide, and generate in the region of $750 million in revenue.
GTA V hasn’t been formally announced yet, though Internet rumblings have suggested the sequel will be set in Hollywood. The last game in the series launched back in April 2008 and has sold 15 million copies worldwide as of March 2010.
Elsewhere, Hickey said that he expects BioShock Infinite to be released during the same 12-month period, while the likes of Max Payne 3, L.A. Noire and Duke Nukem Forever will show up in Take-Two’s financial 2011.
