The next era of Grand Theft Auto online multiplayer will be revealed tomorrow, Thursday, August 14, at 6:45 am PT (2:45 pm GMT).
That’s when Rockstar’s Grand Theft Auto V Online gameplay video will debut, and when press previews of the action will go live around the internet.
A few seconds of multiplayer gameplay closed last month’s Gameplay Reveal trailer, and it looked absolutely insane. Player icons fill the streets of Los Santos, and at one point, a player-piloted jet goes screaming past the main character, who’s looking out a penthouse window at the whole chaotic thing.
Tomorrow’s reveal is sure to be a much bigger blowout. Expect to hear about modes, player counts, matchmaking, clan support, weapons, and unique features that will set Grand Theft Auto V apart from both previous Rockstar titles and the industry at large. Max Payne 3 multiplayer was pretty great, so I’m excited to see what Rockstar has been quietly cooking for its biggest franchise in the last few years.
