Good news for fans of Rockstar Games’ smash hit Grand Theft Auto V, as the story-driven downloadable content accompaniment to the multimillion-selling adventure is still very much alive, that is according to the voice actor who plays one of the game’s main protagonists, Franklin.
In amidst the hullabaloo of a next-generation port as well as confirmation that heists were finally on the horizon, many would be forgiven for forgetting that developer Rockstar had promised an extra slice of single-player goodness for its newest open-world entry, luckily for us it seems every much in development.
Speaking with Jack Thriller, Shawn Fonteno – the actor who voices Franklin Clinton – detailed his current projects with, perhaps unsurprising, GTA V topping the list of things to finish off. There’s been little by way of any hints about what form this single-player will take, although a light rumor back in August tentatively pointed towards something zombie-orientated. A theme Rockstar is familiar with given its ‘Undead Nightmare’ expansion for Wild West romp Red Dead Redemption.
Either way, it seems as though we’ll get confirmation of what it entails sooner rather than later. Casinos, please.
