According to a report on MCV, Rockstar’s Grand Theft Auto V is set to become the U.K.’s best-selling videogame of all time thanks to the launch of the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One edition of the title.
While the original release of the game, which arrived on PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 in September 2013, has sold over four million copies to date, it currently stands second to Call of Duty: Black Ops in terms of sales.
However, Chart-Track GfK looks set to combine sales of both the current and next-generation versions of the open-world action-adventure title, resulting in the game taking the crown as the U.K.’s best-selling ever title.
If GTA V doesn’t achieve the milestone this week, then it is expected to overtake Black Ops by Christmas at the latest.
