Arjan Brussee, co-founder of Guerrilla Games, has confirmed he is leaving the Amsterdam-based studio to join Visceral Games.
Brussee will take on the role as executive producer on an “ambitious” unannounced title currently in development at the Dead Space studio in California.
Writing in an email sent to Guerrilla staff, the former technical director announced his departure and expressed his gratitude to his colleagues for their hard work on Killzone and Shellshock: Nam ’67, for “actually realising Killzone 2 after that infamous trailer,” as well as developing Killzone 3 in two years.
"It has been a great ride," said Brussee. "Every year there was something ambitious, new and inspiring to put my energy into. For me, I now want to find a new personal challenge, and who knows where this will take me next."
