One of the brand new features coming to Activision and FreeStyleGames’ Guitar Hero Live are Premium Shows.
As you can see from the gallery of new Guitar Hero Live screenshots, Premium Shows can be accessed when you complete various challenges in the game. If you’re good enough then you’ll then be able to win prizes, such as custom Player Cards and Note Highways, by partaking in the show. These prizes can then be show off to Guitar Hero Live’s online community for bragging rights.
The new Guitar Hero Live screenshots show footage of the Black Veil Brides, which is the only Premium Show currently announced. Other shows are expected to be announced in the coming weeks.
Among the Guitar Hero Live tracks currently announced are tunes by Queen, Alice in Chains and Weezer. Guitar Hero Live is the first entry in the long-running music franchise in five years, and hits PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, Xbox One, Xbox 360 and Wii U this fall.
