Hammerwatch II will be dishing out open-world action-RPG hack-‘n-slash antics on PS4, PS5, PC, Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S, Modus Games and Crackshell have announced.
While a release date was not announced, the studios confirmed that Hammerwatch II will be available as a digital download priced at $24.99 or physically via the $39.99 The Chronicles Edition. This will feature Hammerwatch II, Hammerwatch: Anniversary Edition, and the Anniversary Pack DLC.
Hammerwatch II will take players on a journey across Hammer Island, the Fallowfields, and the Blackbarrow mountainous region, with five classes available to choose from — Paladin, Ragner, Rogue, Wizard, and Warlock. In addition to robust customisation for your character, players can hoover up an ‘epic number of quests’ as well as take on the adventure with up to three friends in co-op.
Blight the Horrible and his dragon army have succeeded in the sinister plot to overthrow King Roland and bring destruction across the Kingdom of Herian. But not all is lost as hope hides deep within the sewer system, where the King’s resistance movement holds strong. On the King’s order, a select few of mighty and skilled heroes have been entrusted with defeating Blight’s dragons and restoring the Kingdom.
