Happy Holidays from PSU!

Greetings PSU readers!

It’s December 24, which can only mean one thing: it’s clocking off time for the folks at PSU Towers for another year. Well, okay, that’s not strictly true. While we are planning on indulging in copious amounts of gaming and feasting over the next week, our tenacious work ethic ensures we’ll still be popping in to supplement your holiday browsing with any major stories and features, including our comprehensive 2010 Game of the Year Awards.

But that’s not the chief reason we’re here now. Nope, what we’re actually here to do is to extend our gratitude to you, our loyal readers, for sticking by us for another year and ensuring we’re still here delivering your daily dose of gaming news, reviews and features. As you may or may not know, PSU has been under new management as of this past summer, and with 2011 poised to be one of the biggest years in gaming history, some exciting times lay ahead.

We look forward to the New Year with unfaltering optimism and we hope you’ll join us for the ride as we aim to grow PSU into an even bigger beast than it is presently. We are acutely aware that without your support, that simply wouldn’t be possible.

In conclusion, we’d like to wish all our readers Happy Holidays and a smashing New Year. Eat, game and be merry!

Best wishes,

-The PSU Team

And now for a few personal messages from the staff…

Hey chaps!

Blimey, is it that time of year already? Crikey, where does the time go. Then again, I have trouble conceiving the fact I’m 26, as it only seems like yesterday I was unwrapping Shenmue for Christmas back in 2000. Mmm… nostalgia, tasty!

Anyway, enough rambling. I’ll keep this short and sweet. As PSU’s longtime U.K. Editor, I’d like to personally wish you and your family’s a very happy holiday and a prosperous New Year. Indeed, 2011 looks set to be a right corker in terms of video game releases (though the old fart in me insists it’ll never top 1998), and I, like you, can’t wait to jump right in.

Make sure you stuff your faces and grab as much gaming time as humanly possible – and above all, enjoy!

All the best,

Mike Harradence, PSU U.K. Editor

Hey Everyone!

I want to wish everyone a happy, fun and safe holiday season! If you’re traveling abroad or just traveling locally to see loved ones, please remember to be safe and take any precautions you need to ensure you get to your destinations safely. It’s crazy on the roads this time of year, and it’s heartbreaking to hear tragic news on what is supposed to be a cheerful time with family and friends. So stay safe, game on, and have fun!

Happy Holidays,
Matt Raspe, PSU Games Database Manager

Hey PSU Community,

As PSU’s resident Jewish atheist, let me say this: have an awesome Christmas, a happy Hanukkah, a crazy Kwanzaa, or a fun-filled Festivus. Disregarding whatever you do or don’t celebrate, just enjoy the next few days. If you’re going to be working, like this PSU editor, don’t feel down; remember that it’s not the holidays themselves, but the relationships with the people you care about that are actually important. You should cherish those people throughout the entire year, not just when society reminds you to do.

Happy gaming!

Eric Blattberg, PSU U.S. Editor

Merry Christmas to everyone!

May you all have a wonderful weekend with friends and family. Let’s all bring in the New Year with an explosion of positive thoughts, creations, ambitions, goals, and general awesomeness!

Much love to everyone!

Howdy PSU:

Happy holidays everyone. Another year down and we cannot be happier for 2011. I hope everyone has a wonderful vacation (if you are lucky to get one) full of hours and hours of video game entertainment. It’s hard not to get excited about 2011, but we know this time of year is meant for reflection. I’d like to thank the community for your continued support, and I wish you all a great holiday. We’ll see you next year.
