Acting legend Harrison Ford has pointed to Troy Baker’s standout performance for Indiana Jones and the Great Circle as proof that you don’t need artificial intelligence to replace real performers.
Speaking with the Wall Street Journal, Ford, who had already heaped praise on Baker’s performance during an appearance at The Game Awards 2024 in December, told the publication that Baker did a “brilliant job.”
You don’t need artificial intelligence to steal my soul. You can already do it for nickels and dimes with good ideas and talent. He did a brilliant job, and it didn’t take AI to do it.
Ford added that “my plan is to keep working behind that face till I don’t care what happens anymore, there won’t be any need for me. There’s somebody behind me. Doing what I did.”

Indiana Jones and the Great Circle was released for PC and Xbox Series X/S back in December 2024, and is scheduled to hit the PS5 in Spring 2025.
