Sega announced Hatsune Miku: Project DIVA F 2nd will be available as both a physical copy and digital download for the PlayStation 3 and PS Vita on November 18 in North America and Latin America and on November 21 in the rest of the world.
For those who pre-order at select retailers worldwide, they will receive the in-game Americana Module outfit for Hatsune Miku. The costume was the winning submission to the 2011 San Francisco JPOP Summit Festival.
In addition to the Americana Module. GameStop pre-orders will get you the Extra Character Pack that has the Vocaloids Akita Neru, Yowane Haku, and Kasane Teto (pictured left to right below).
Those who own the first Hatsune Miku: Project DIVA F on either the PS3 or PS VIta and purchased Extra Character Pack will receive all three free of charge as a thank you from Sega.
Hatsune Miku Project Diva is a rhythm game franchise based on the popular mascot characters of the voice synthesizer software created by Crypton Future Media, using Yamaha’s Vocaloid technology. Since premiering on the PSP in 2009, most Project DIVA titles are exclusive to Sony platforms and are solid sellers in Japan.
Thanks to overwhelming Western fan response, Sega finally brought Miku and friends to gamers abroad last August with Hatsune Miku Project Diva F for the PS3, followed by the PS Vita version last March.
