Haze delayed again

Gamers are still none the wiser as to when they will be able to play Ubisoft’s Haze, after the release date was pushed back yet again.

The PlayStation3 exclusive had been scheduled for a March 18 release, but Ubisoft has now said that it will not appear in this quarter.

Ubisoft, developers of the TimeSplitters series and the publishers of Far Cry and Ghost Recon: Advanced Warfighter, have promised big things from this game, including no loading times between levels. The first person shooter, set 25 years in the future, was initially expected to be available before Christmas of last year, but now Haze has been pushed in to Ubisoft’s next fiscal year, which begins this April.

That means that the game could be appearing any time between April 2008 and March 2009, but here’s hoping that it’s just a small adjustment for financial reasons rather than a lengthy delay.
