Wales Interactive has pulled the wraps off Heart of the Forest, a new interactive horror game coming to PS5, PC, Nintendo Switch, and Xbox Series X/S in the first quarter of 2026.
Heart of the Forest follows a hiking trip into the Black Forest, which in typical horror fashion, turns out to be anything but a leisurely stroll in the wilderness. After the group’s guide vanishes, the hikers find themselves stranded and lost; they’re not alone however, as strange events that blur the line between reality and nightmare plagued the survivors, with dark forces taking hold of the Black Forest.

That’s about all we know on the game so far, although in typical interactive game fashion, your choices will determine the fate o the game’s cast. Heart of the Forest is due out in Q1 2026.
