Team 17 and Expression Games have announced Hell Let Loose Vietnam, the next chapter in the Hell Let Loose series that builds on the previous World War II-based shooter with a brand new setting — the Vietnam War.
Hell Let Loose Vietnam offers era-specific weapons and new jungle-based combat, where coordination, strategy, and teamwork have been repurposed for a brand new battlefield. Once again, victory cannot be achieved alone; players must work together through teamwork, tactics and communication with your squad to secure objectives and outflank the enemy, gaining new ground in the process.
Launching in 2026, experience the Vietnam War next year and fight your way across Vietnam in sprawling, meticulously crafted maps designed with historical accuracy and respect to the conflict. This is a brand-new experience, bringing fresh gameplay systems and new ways to fight, all while delivering the immersive theatre-of-war atmosphere that players fell in love with in the original.

Hell Let Loose Vietnam covers the conflict starting in 1965 between the United States Armed Forces (US Force) and North Vietnamese Army (NVA), and recreates historically accurate uniforms, weapons, vehicles and more. Six distinctive maps will be offered with more to come, with battles unfolding across dramatic terrain such as dense jungles, rice fields, beaches, rivers and hills.
One of the key elements being introduced with the game are helicopters, with the US Forces have full access to operational choppers to aid in troop patrol, supply drops, and extraction from the battle zone. Meanwhile, the NVA has the advantage of navigating tunnel networks across maps, expanding on the Garrison system from the original Hell Let Loose. The game has also been upgraded to the Unreal Engine 5, offering ‘significant improvements in performance, visuals, and gameplay systems.’
Hell Let Loose Vietnam is due out in 2026 for PS5, PC, and Xbox Series X/S.
