Helldivers 2 has been updated once more by developer Arrowhead Game Studios, with this latest patch ironing out a number of crashes and soft locks. In addition, it also adjusts the enemy spawn rate during the Raise Flag objective in Spread Democracy missions, as well as issuing various miscellaneous fixes. Helldivers 2 was released for the PS5 and PC in February 2024, and is confirmed as one of many titles to support PS5 Pro. The community manager for Arrowhead Game Studios recently stated that Sony and Phil Spencer would have to ‘duke it out’ in order for the game to come to Xbox platforms.

- Crash Fixes & Soft Locks:
- Resolved crash when player or hot-joiner first spawns into a mission.
- Fixed rare crash with carriable items and minimap interactions.
- Missions:
- Reduced enemy spawn rate during the Raise Flag objective in Spread Democracy missions.
- Miscellaneous Fixes:
- Fixed holding last stratagem input preventing movement on default PC controls.
- SOS beacons now remain active during missions and seek players if someone leaves the squad. However, they are destroyed on host migration.
- Fixed issue preventing SOS beacon deployment in subsequent missions under certain conditions.
- Resolved issue where deploying an SOS beacon did not make the lobby public.
- Fixed bug preventing non-public lobbies from being joinable even with an active SOS beacon.
- Corrected radial menu snapping issues with mouse and keyboard inputs.
- Fixed issue where users with many in-game friends couldn’t view some friends’ in-game status, hindering invitations and joining.
- Resolved issue where player names were absent after returning to ship from a mission.
- Fixed missing player names and chat text.
Known Issues:
- Top Priority:
- Excessive ragdolling impacts player experience negatively.
- Testing adjustments like allowing players to remain prone after ragdolling, enabling stims while ragdolling, and recognizing prone status on the ground.
- Considering changes to enemy projectiles and behavior.
- Issues with emoting while airborne and stratagem balls bouncing off cliffs.
- Addressing non-telegraphed rocket attacks from the Reinforced Scout Strider enemy.
- Medium Priority:
- Firebomb Hellpods cannot destroy larger enemies (e.g., tanks).
- Jetpack users have difficulty shooting while airborne.
- Reinforcement may be unavailable for players joining in-progress games.
- Players may get stuck on Pelican-1’s ramp during extraction.
- High-damage weapons do not trigger Hellbombs already on the map.
- Players using Microsoft IME languages cannot input Korean, Japanese, or Chinese in chat.
- Weapons with Charge-up mechanics might fire faster than intended RPM limit.
