The latest warbond for Helldivers 2 is set to arrive next week on August 8, 2024, and this time it looks like things are heating up in Super Earth’s conquest to bring democracy to the galaxy.
Freedom’s Flame, the new premium warbond will include new cosmetics from colour patterns, to capes, cards, armour sets and emotes. Of course there will also be new weapons to help spread democracy.
A new primary shotgun is being added to the mix with the SG-451 Cookout (literary fans see what you did there, Arrowhead) and two new flamethrowing weapons. The FLAM-66 Torcher as a new primary weapon and the P-72 Crisper as a new secondary weapon.
There’s also a new booster for players to utilize in Firebomb Hellpods that let you make a fiery entrance to the battle.
Arrowhead Games released a new trailer showing off everything included in the new warbond along with a PlayStation Blog post diving deeper into each weapon.
