Evolution Studios, the intrepid developers behind the PS4 hit Driveclub, has released a video showcasing the blistering top speed of one of February’s downloadable cars.
Although we don’t get to see the actual car featured, the speed is what’s worth paying attention to, as the car fires across the swirling track as it hits a mind-melting 242 miles per hour. And while Driveclub had a troublesome launch back in October, with the free PlayStation Plus version still missing in action, it’s come on leaps and bounds since and is arguably PlayStation’s premier racer.
Rumor has it that the car featured in the video is the SSC Ultimate Aero TT, an absolute behemoth that can go from 0-to-60 mph in a meager 2.78 seconds – a car only eclipsed by the Bugatti Veyron Super Sport.
