The PS5 version of Hi-Fi Rush is currently at 91 on Metacritic, making it the highest-rated version of the game on the website, with PC and Xbox Series X/S versions sitting at 90 and 87, respectively.
Developed by Tango Gameworks, Hi-Fi Rush is one of four Xbox-exclusives games heading to the PS5, the others being Pentiment, Sea of Thieves, and Grounded. The game launched for Sony’s flagship home console yesterday, and was originally made available for PC and Xbox Series X/S in January 2023.

Hi-Fi Rush is a vibrant, rhythm-based action game where players control Chai, a ‘future rock star’ who finds himself endowed with rhythmic combat powers after his music player is embedded into his chest during experimental surgery. After he is labelled a defect by the corporation that performed surgery on him, Chai teams up with his new buddies to defeat the company’s nefarious bigwigs and stop their plans.
