Hideki Kamiya Forms YouTube Channel As He Departs PlatinumGames In A Lamborghini

Hideki Kamiya has launched a YouTube Channel in wake of his departure from PlatinumGames, and posted a picture of him leaving the studio in stylish fashion via a Lamborghini.

The Resident Evil 2 director announced his departure from the company that he co-founded 15 years ago last month, admitting he feels “very refreshed” after stepping down. Most importantly, he confirmed that he doesn’t have any plans to retire from the games industry.

I am Hideki Kamiya, unemployed. Welcome to my channel. I’m out of a job, so please subscribe. I feel very refreshed after leaving [Platinum]. I’ve been watching Netflix, Disney Plus, YouTube and stuff like that. I’ve already lost track of what day it is. I haven’t been to work for a while. I think it’s been about three months since I decided to quit. Once I decided to leave, I had to clean up all these toys and stuff like that. Once I finished cleaning, I was at home with my paid vacation.
