Hideo Kojima has revealed that Death Stranding 2: On The Beach‘s Japanese dialogue recording has now been completed.
The Kojima Productions boss took to social media to reveal the news, and follows recent confirmation that Death Stranding 2 will be released in late June.
We wrapped on all the Japanese voice recording the other day, but we had some additional takes. Thank you so much.

An earlier post on X had Kojima-san stating the following:
It’s been 10 months since the first recording. As happy as I am, it also makes me quite sad. […] Thank you all for your hard work. Thank you so much. It was fun. Looking forward to working with you all for the next one.
Death Stranding 2 is scheduled for release on June 26 for PS5, and as previously reported will feature three different editions. The first is the standard version of the game, and there’s also a Digital Deluxe Edition that throws in a bunch of extra in-game goodies. Finally, players can also plump for the $229.99 Collector’s Edition, which adds a wealth of physical items including a 15-inch Magellan Man statue, art cards, and more.
