Metal Gear Solid creator Hideo Kojima has confirmed he will be making a special appearance at the upcoming Leipzig Games Convention this month to provide a hands-on demo of the upcoming PlayStation 3 exclusive, Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots.
According to Konami, Kojima will debut a new trailer, "detail key plot points" as well as divulging "exciting news about forthcoming Metal Gear projects from Kojima Productions".
Speaking in a press release, Kojima stated, "When I last came to Leipzig, I promised fans of Metal Gear Solid they would be able to see a playable version of MGS4 – and, to celebrate the special nature of the occasion, I can confirm, that I will bring a special guest with me. I love the enthusiasm European games players constantly show towards our titles, and look forward to showing Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots at the most important European gaming event of the year", he enthused.
Kojima previously showcased the first playable demo of the game at the Metal Gear Solid 20th Anniversary celebrations in Tokyo a fortnight ago. The Leipzig Games Convention takes place from August 23 – 28; stay tuned for full coverage of the event here at PSU.
