Hideo Kojima won’t be at E3, is now recording for new game

Celebrated developer Hideo Kojima has revealed that he’s in the process of recording for his latest project, though also revealed he won’t be attending E3 this year.

Posting on micro-blogging site Twitter, the Metal Gear Solid mastermind also dropped off a teaser image of the as-of-yet-unnamed title.

Seen below, the shot itself depicts a recording studio with two monitors on display, each of which contains the image of a mysterious character from the new game.

Kojima-san Tweeted last week that a project he had been beavering away at the last year or so had now become “meaningless.”

However, it recently emerged that Kojima Productions has ‘various announcements’ up its sleeves for June 2, so it looks like we won’t have long to wait to find out what Kojima has been up to all this time.

Stay tuned.
