Hitman developer confirms plan for 3 seasons

IO Interactive has confirmed on Twitter that it is planning to release three seasons of the new Hitman game for PlayStation 4, PC, and Xbox One.

While additional seasons have yet to be announced, the developer made it clear that it has a road map in place for Agent 47’s episodic adventures, which is currently approaching its fourth episode of season one.

Plans for a second and third season shouldn’t come as much of a surprise, as IO Interactive previously said that “the structure is inspired by contemporary TV series’ and will unfold over multiple seasons. To begin with, the overall story and the individual mission stories run in parallel but as the first season progresses, the tracks will merge and become one.”

Hitman episode 4 release date confirmed

Publisher Square Enix last week revealed details on the next chapter of Hitman, titled Episode Four: Bangkok, confirming the new chapter will arrive on August 16, 2016. The new episode sees Agent 47 tasked with assassinating the frontman of a popular rock band along with the family lawyer.

Hitman will receive two more episodes later in the year, taking the bald assassin to North America and Japan.
