Hitman on PS4 targets seven new episodes in 2016

Square Enix has announced that the upcoming Hitman for PlayStation 4, PC and Xbox One will receive seven new episodes throughout 2016.

Details on the new content are being kept under wraps, although the publisher has previously confirmed that Agent 47’s latest adventure will feature locations such as Paris (a launch map) as well as Italy, Morocco, Thailand, Japan and the United States.

Gamers who fork out for the ‘Full Experience’ pack, which retails for £44.99, will have access to all seven episodes as they are rolled out, as well as saving £15 than if you purchased them individually.

On the other hand, if you fancy plumping for the £11.99 ‘Intro’ pack, you’ll then be able to purchase each new episode for £7.99 upon release. Square Enix will also make available free DLC throughout the year, including weapons and outfits.

Hitman’s episodes feature small-scale open-world locations, where players are presented with a wealth of options to go about their mission to assassinate a chosen target. Each area is populated with numerous NPCs, with environments being around six-seven times larger than even the biggest maps featured in Hitman Absolution.

Hitman will launch on March 11 so stay tuned for our review later this week.
