IO Interactive has announced that Cross-Progression is coming to Hitman: World of Assassination as it celebrates the fifth anniversary of Hitman 3, which of course is now incorporated under the WoA umbrella.
Due to launch on February 3, 2026, Cross-Progression will see your progress stored online and shared across all supported platforms that are linked to your IOI Account. This feature will utilise a Primary Account model, which means when you link platforms to your IOI Account, one platform profile of your choice will be used as your primary progression profile. The following data will be shared across all platforms: Experience, Player Level, Challenges, Location Mastery, Unlocks and Inventory, Achievements/Trophies, Freelancer Mode Progression, and Campaign Story Progress.
IO Interactive was quick to note however that Game license, DLC license, DLC-based unlocks, Leaderboard scores, and Save Games (offline and online) are not saved across platforms. In terms of supported platforms for Cross-Progression, it will cover PS5, PS4, PC, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch 2, and iOS.
