Hogwarts Legacy PS5 Trophy Bug Fix Coming In New Patch This Week

Avalanche Software has revealed that it will address a Hogwarts Legacy PS5 Trophy bug relating to in-game collectibles via a new update this week.

The Wizarding World RPG launched last Friday for PS5, PC and Xbox Series X/S, although one particular issue results in a dodgy counter for collectibles, which means anything you pick up doesn’t register. As such, some players are reporting that they are unable to obtain this particular Hogwarts Legacy PS5 Trophy.

Brian English, a known Trophy hunter, revealed on Twitter that he reached out to Avalanche Studios regarding the problem, and has been assured by the company that a fix will be released soon.

The issue is fixed and we’ll have a patch out Tuesday for it. It will also retroactively fix the issue and pop the Trophy for anyone who didn’t get it.

Hogwarts Legacy is now available for PS5, PC and Xbox Series X/S and you can read our review here. The game topped the UK All Format Chart upon release, becoming the biggest launch for a Harry Potter game of all time.

Developed by Portkey Games and Avalanche Software, Hogwarts Legacy takes place about 100 years before the events of Harry Potter, and sees players attending Hogwarts as a fifth-year student.
