Headware Games has announced that its tech-noir survival horror title Hollowbody is coming to PS5 and Xbox Series X/S on June 5, 2026.
The console versions of the game come packed with all of the post-launch updates from the PC release, which includes optional puzzles, locations, lore, quality-of-life improvements, bug fixes, a third-person camera mode, plus Spanish, Brazilian Portuguese, Russian, and Japanese localisations.
Billed as a dystopian love letter to survival horror, Hollowbody takes place in the near future and sees players taking control of Mica, an unlicensed black market shipper who attempting to track down her missing partner. However, she ends up deep within the exclusion zone after crashing her hover, leaving her stranded with limited resources.
Hollowbody plucks inspiration from classic early 2000s horror titles and blends dynamic and fixed camera angles to offer a cinematic experience for players as they solve puzzles, manage resources, and engage combat with enemies. There’s a strong emphasis on on world building and narration as you explore environments, with the game’s story unfolding with full voice acting; plus, difficulty settings allow you to tweak the experience, allowing you to prioritise exploration over combat.
Hollowbody launches on June 5 for PS5 and Xbox Series X/S.
