Development of the upcoming Homefront: The Revolution has passed onto the newly-founded Deep Silver Dumbuster Studios.
The Nottingham-based studio will be continuing work on the game that was previously in development at Crytek UK, who has been plunged into difficulties over the past few months.
Klemens Kundratitz, CEO of Koch Media, commented: "We are thrilled to see another great IP joining the Deep Silver universe. We strongly believe in the potential of Homefront: The Revolution and trust in the new team to continue the path we have been walking in the last years."
Crytek UK’s situation remains unclear, though it recently commented that it had "now laid the foundations for securing Crytek’s future – not just in the short term, but also long term."
The studio’s issues stem from financial woes regarding unpaid workers, with many employees allegedly refusing to show up to work.
Homefront: The Revolution is due out on PlayStation 4, PC, and Xbox One in 2015. Stay tuned to PSU for more details.
