Horizon Zero Dawn patch 1.01 and 1.02 notes, update live on day-one

The Horizon Zero Dawn day-one update has now launched for those who have got their hands on the highly-anticipated game prior to its official February 28 release date.

If not, then Patch 1.01 and 1.02 will be ready for you to download from the PlayStation Store as soon as you boot up the game. The two updates weigh in at a 227.3MB download, and the changelog details have been announced as follows; though there’s not too many details!

Patch 1:01

  • Added options to switch graphics mode and HDR rendering
  • Multiple crash fixes and progression
  • Various performance improvements

Patch 1.02

  • Multiple crash fixes and progression
  • Various fixes to avoid getting player’s stuck
  • Updated visual settings
  • Performance improvements

Horizon Zero Dawn has received high critical acclaim ahead of launch, and we think you’ll love it! There’s huge potential for the series and we believe we could be seeing the birth of a brand new PlayStation icon in lead character, Aloy.
