Guerrilla Games’ critically acclaimed adventure game managed to dethrone previous chart champ, Ark: Survival Evolved, which had previously notched up an impressive three-month stint at the top of the PS Store sales list.
Horizon Zero Dawn was released exclusively on PS4 in the U.S. on February 28 and in Europe on March 2. The game attracted high praise from critics, and went on to sell over 2.6 million copies in its first two weeks on sale alone. Guerrilla also recently touched on ideas for a potential Horizon Zero Dawn 2, which it says would likely feature more machines to battle.
