Guerrilla Games has released Horizon Zero Dawn update 1.53, which adds a much-requested 60 FPS mode for the game when played on PS5 via backwards compatibility.
This latest update for the critically acclaimed open-world adventurer unlocks the frame rate, offering it the chance to run buttery smooth on Sony’s new home console. You can read the full Horizon Zero Dawn 1.53 patch notes below.

Horizon Zero Dawn was released for PS4 in February 2017 in the US and early March in the UK. The game sold over 10 million copies worldwide, so it’s no surprise to see that a sequel, Horizon Forbidden West, is currently in production for PS5 and PS4.
