Hotline Miami 2: Wrong Number release date announced – and it’s soon

Have you been waiting for your fill of manic, twitch shooting with tonnes of retro neon and pumping synthesiser? Thankfully the wait’s almost over as Hotline Miami 2: Wrong Number is set to release next month on March 10.

Announced on the game’s official Twitter, Hotline Miami 2: Wrong Number will launch on PlayStation systems early next month, drawing to a close the mystery as to when it would finally see the light of day. A special edition of the soundtrack had been put up for pre-order a number of months ago and had pointed to a March release, with many speculating that it would indeed come to fruition.

A sequel to the critically-lauded original, Hotline Miami 2 is looking to ramp up proceedings significantly, with more blood and gore than ever before – so much so in fact, that the game’s already been refused classification in Australia.

Needless to say, we’re excited for this one – so stay tuned for our definitive review which will launch just before the game’s imminent release.
