If you’re looking how to delete a user on PS4 there’s an easy way to do it. Perhaps, you inadvertently added a new user, or just want to get rid of someone you added who is no longer using your PS4. Or maybe you’ve just bought a second-hand PS4 and existing users are currently still on the system? If so, there’s just a few steps you need to take.
First up, make sure you are logged into your PS4. Then go to the setting section. Access user management then select Delete User.
You’ll see a list of current users on your console and can then decide which one to delete. This will permanently remove that player from your console.
If you don’t know your password, there’s no way you can delete other users using these steps. However, you can perform a factory reset so that the PS4 settings revert back to the time when the console was brand new.
