How We Soar unveiled for PlayStation VR, takes flight late 2016

Penny Black Studios, a small UK-based developer with former Free Radical Design and Crytek staff, announced a new PlayStation VR flight game named How We Soar, which is set to launch sometime in the fourth quarter of 2016.

Players will use the PlayStation 4’s DualShock 4 controller to take flight as a massive Phoenix and have the option of taking an adrenaline-pumping speed or a slow, calm pace to enjoy the world’s pretty papercraft art style.

As the Phoenix, each level you enter will be mysteriously shredded, torn, and unfolded. But as you fly near the environment, the Phoenix heals the nearby area, recovering its form and color. At the same time, you discover the memories of someone known as “The Author,” traveling between fantasy and reality to figure out his/her story.

How We Soar looks like a splendid game to introduce newcomers to VR, with its simple design and less intense nature. Check out the relaxing reveal trailer:
