Huge Destiny update brings new content, bug fixes and PvP improvements

Destiny patch v1.0.3 brings with it a host of new content and improvements for Bungie’s shooter.

Available to download right now, the patch notes reveal a host of tweaks designed to balance the gameplay, fix bugs and improve Crucible events. We reported earlier today the change to the Iron Banner events, but players can also expect an extension to the amount of Bounties they can carry, as well as voice chat enhancements in the form of team-talk and voice-chat options and new inventory in the Tower.

The frequency of Public Events will now be 10-15 percent more likely, while users will benefit from a host of improvements to PvP, maps and menus. For full details, check out the patch notes.

The first batch of DLC for Destiny is planned for December 9, 2014. ‘The Dark Below’ will add new missions, story quests and Crucible maps.
